The family room was compact, but had everything we needed, including a working whirlpool tub as well as a shower. Breakfast brought a huge spread of cakes and sweets, very Italian in style. If I had one suggestion for management, it would be to swap some of those for a savoury option. This is a charming family-run boutique hotel, just a one-minute walk from the lovely mountain village of Pescocostanzo.

We hadn't booked ahead, but the host was wonderful and spoke great English. Breakfast was great, and they kept our bikes safely in their private garage.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helped us figure out the trip home when we were having trouble with Trenitalia. Breakfast came with homemade cakes, the sweet kind that's typical in Italy.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. The location is convenient and well placed, and the welcome was both professional and warm. Breakfast was a treat, with lots of excellent handmade desserts. 😋
