We chose Hotel Le Torri for a weekend ski trip, just 2 hours from Rome, and its spot in central Pescocostanzo was handy. First we stayed in corner room 101, with two windows, then moved to room 202, which had a balcony overlooking the street. I liked both rooms, and the hotel's details had a traditional feel that suited the area. The owner is a very nice lady. A quiet, convenient place to stay, with clean and comfortable rooms and staff who were very helpful. It's a few kilometers from the Roccaraso slopes. Breakfast was excellent, and the value for money was excellent too.

The restaurant was exquisite, with plenty of meat and vegetable choices, delicious desserts, and almond brittle that tasted of flowers. The room was spotless and smelled wonderful. There was a small leak in the bathroom, but the hotel quickly called a plumber and had it fixed. The staff were first-rate, courteous, helpful, and attentive to guests, and the owner was extremely kind. The property is in central Pescocostanzo, on a lively street that feels like stepping back in time. I grew up in Rivisondoli and have been here hundreds of times, but I fall more in love with it on every visit. It's a magical place, and I highly recommend staying here if you visit.
