We made the trip to Sicily for this place alone, and it was worth it. Tucked into the hills above the Madonie, it's a remarkable spot. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and funky, and the cats and staff are friendly. Diego's imaginative cooking was a joy to watch, and our meal took us through Sicilian flavours and textures in lovely surroundings. The food was top quality.

The place was dirty and didn't feel sanitary, which was disappointing. The cats were friendly, but the owner kept side-eyeing everyone at breakfast. It was eggs, dried bread, cheese, and ham. Wouldn't recommend it.

The food arrived terribly cold even though it was supposed to be warm, which mattered a lot in winter with the evening temperature outside close to 0 degrees. In December, the room was cold too, and the shower had low water pressure. The whole experience was very bad.

A lovely couple own this modern-roomed boutique hotel, tucked away from the crowds. The food is Michelin quality. I'd gladly stay here again.

Curious couple, interesting. The food was excellent, but I wasn't keen on our room. It felt dark and cold, almost like a cave. The rain outside was really coming down, which of course didn't help.
