Al Baglio

The Baglio is a handy base for the area, with Trapani and the port for the Egadi Islands about 15 minutes away, and the Trapani salt pans around 10 minutes away. Marsala and its salt pans, Erice, Custonaci, and San Vito lo Capo are also nearby. There's plenty of parking, the whole property is on the ground floor, and children can safely play in the garden. It seems especially suited to families and anyone with mobility issues, or anyone after a relaxing break. We stayed four nights and found everything spotlessly clean, with that fresh smell throughout. Breakfast was delicious and generous, mostly prepared by Caterina, both sweet and savory. She's welcoming, helpful, and incredibly kind. It was a pleasure to meet her, and we felt as if we'd known each other forever. We recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

We spent the week of June 16 to June 23, 2023, here as a couple, and the warmth of Caterina, now a dear friend, is what we remember most. The greenery, peaceful setting, affectionate care, little comforts, and delicious breakfasts made us feel at home, almost as if we'd always lived in this welcoming house. At Baglio di Caterina, we felt like we were in paradise. We'll come back whenever we long for peace, a simple life, and her warmth. A wonderful holiday is remembered not just for the places you see, but for the special people who enrich your life.

Getting to Mozia Island and Marsala by ferry took about 20 minutes. We also appreciated the tables provided so we could have dinner. The rooms were spacious, very clean, welcoming, and equipped with every comfort. We were traveling with six children, and the garden games were a real help. Breakfast was generous, with homemade cakes and milk and Nesquik with straws for the kids. I found the place the old-fashioned way, using a map and calling directly. From that first call I sensed warmth and helpfulness, and that's exactly how it turned out. Thanks so much, congratulations, and we hope to see you again soon.

Caterina is a lovely woman who made us feel at home. The rooms were clean, and the welcoming place is just a few kilometers from Trapani airport and port. We'd definitely recommend it and come back.
