The staff were always glad to help with directions or suggestions, and there was a small shared area with a microwave and vending machines, which came in handy for a quick bite or heating food. Breakfast was basic and had enough to get us going, though a few salad options would have been nice. We found the room clean and comfortable. It wasn't especially big, but that seems normal in Rome, and it had what I needed. Restaurants downstairs made it a little noisy, but my sleep wasn't affected. Hotel King is also very central, with plenty of attractions, cafes, and shops within an easy walk. Good value for the location, and I'd stay here again.

We found it easy to get to the main sights, restaurants, and public transport from this hotel. Prices were very affordable compared with other places in Rome, and the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and felt it was great value. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The pillows were very flat, and around 10pm the shower water was only just warm, not properly hot. If you like a hot shower, use it earlier. Still, the location is awesome, with the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain among the places you can walk to. I'd definitely recommend staying here for that.

At nearly 200 euros a night for a standard twin room, I expected better value. Breakfast was very modest next to what other hotels in that price range offer. The room also felt outdated, the beds were uncomfortable, and the blanket didn't have a proper duvet cover. The air conditioner made a lot of noise, street sounds came through the windows, and a huge screen on the building shone brightly into the room at night. Disappointing for the price.

The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable it felt like sleeping on a piece of wood, and the shower was ridiculously small. Anyone even slightly on the bigger side would have a hard time showering comfortably. Our room was on the 4th floor, but we had to take the elevator to the 3rd, walk along a corridor, then climb another set of stairs. It took around 3 minutes to get from the entrance to the room, which was extremely inconvenient. There wasn't any drinking water in the room either. We paid €500 for 3 nights and were still expected to pay extra for water. For a supposed 3-star hotel, that's ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend it.
