Smiles & Sunsets - Marino's Resort

The pool is the best part of the setting, clean and comfortable. There's a well-kept garden, reserved parking, and a good amount of privacy in the outdoor areas even though they're shared with the owners. The location is handy for nearby towns, between Mazara del Vallo and Marsala and very close to the salt pans. The bungalow didn't work as well for me. The bedroom is so narrow there's barely room to squeeze through, and the third bed is a small sofa that's uncomfortable for an adult who's 1.70 m tall. The bathroom has no window, only a porthole, so it doesn't air out well and the air isn't pleasant, especially with the door opening onto the kitchen. There's no bidet, although the notes say there is, and for me that's still a drawback.
