The pool was very well kept, and although it isn’t built in, it was large enough for a refreshing swim. We also had free parking on the property. The old-looking house and room were cozy and pleasant, though they could seem a bit unclean at first glance. Our room itself was very clean and hygiene was fine. Our host was lovely and the hospitality was great. She doesn’t speak much English, but we managed with a bit of French, which she speaks. We were welcomed with fresh coffee, and breakfast in the morning was beautiful and delicious. One heads-up for anyone who struggles to get up: a dog barks every morning before breakfast starts. We weren’t fans, but it did get us to breakfast on time. A cozy, lovely place with a fantastic host.

It felt like staying at an aunt’s house. A very kind woman has set up three B&B rooms on the first floor of her little home. Don’t expect hotel-style service, since this is a B&B. Things aren’t perfectly tidy, and you may spot a speck of dust. Breakfast is generous, with cured meats, cheeses, and local croissants the host buys. Guests can also help themselves to water, coffee, and herbal tea during their stay.

The woman was kind, but that couldn’t make up for how extremely dirty every area was, from the bedroom to the shared space. The bathroom had no bidet, and the walls were tiled except inside the shower stall. The electrical setup in our assigned room was below standard and seemed possibly tampered with. This place is a real “NAS NIGHTMARE.” Absolutely not recommended.

We had a beautiful room with a lake view, and breakfast was generous, with a broad range of local food, both sweet and savory. The host was helpful, flexible about our arrival time, and knew the area’s attractions well. The pool wasn’t very clean, but we stayed in November, so it wasn’t a big issue for us.
