In the middle of Piacenza, this is a great apartment, and the room was clean and large enough for a couple with a baby. Just note that many shops and restaurants close in the afternoon. We were told there was private parking, which is only partly true. It's a tiny area shared with other cars, so only the last car can get out without someone moving another one. We were asked to move ours when other guests arrived. If you're staying several days, you can't come and go freely. Still, a good stay.

We spent two nights here, about a ten-minute walk from the center of piacenza. The owner spoke only a little English, but we managed to understand each other. Our bedroom was small but nicely put together, with lovely Italian furniture, and it had a very clean bathroom with an amazing shower cubicle. There were also coffee-making facilities. After a hot day sightseeing, the roof terrace was a lovely place to sit. We paid to park in the courtyard, which felt worthwhile because our van was safe. The owner even brought a bottle of wine to our room the night before we left. Such a nice touch. A little gem, and I'd recommend staying.
