Villa Dom

If you enjoy a real vintage feel, you'll like this place. It must have been glamorous 20 years ago, and the garden is very nice. Breakfast was cosy too. The carpets and some other things could use a makeover, though the fair price reflects that.

The hosts were wonderful, and the accommodation was lovely. We stayed two nights in the villa, loved it, and are grateful for the stay!

The room at Villa Dom was excellent, especially the bathroom, and the property felt genuinely luxurious. I’d been looking forward to staying there, and the Agoda price was great, just €120 for the night. But the villa felt very isolated when we arrived. The drive had been quiet with hardly any cars, and there weren’t any other guests around. That made the place feel eerie and unsafe to us. My brother became uncomfortable as we were going out for dinner. We’re used to central places, so it was a big change. After dinner, we told the staff we didn’t feel safe and checked out early, even though we lost the payment. I didn’t get much chance to explore the villa. With more guests there, we might have felt more at ease and stayed. It’s a beautiful villa, but it may not suit someone wanting a livelier atmosphere or a stronger sense of security.

The big rooms and Italian style inside the house are stunning. Breakfast is made to order too: you choose what you want, and it’s prepared for you on time. The family who built the house is so friendly. They welcome you kindly and ask how you’re doing with real warmth, almost like you’re visiting relatives. Such a cozy, beautiful place. I’m absolutely delighted and will come back!
