La Casa di Mà

Mr. Danilo made us feel welcome right away, with such warmth and attention. La Casa di Mà is a quiet, clean B&B just steps from the center of Piancastagnaio, run by lovely people. Our room was warm, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches, including a sweet welcome gift on the bed. There was a coffee and tea maker with biscuits, croissants, taralli, water, and more. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, with yogurt, small filled rolls, fresh croissants, bread, cereal, and milk. Mr. Danilo made coffee and cappuccino fresh with real care. It'll be our first choice next time we're in the area. Highly recommend it. Thanks for everything 💚

A lovely stop for Piancastagnaio, Monte Amiata, or the surrounding area, even if you want to stay more than a day. Our room was new, comfortable, perfect, and spotlessly clean, with a spacious bathroom and a fabulous shower. They'd also left a generous pack of snacks and drinks. Breakfast was served in the well-kept, plentiful communal "Kitchen." The host was attentive and made us feel at home, present without getting in the way. Our heartfelt compliments. We'll be back and will definitely recommend it. Well done!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The host waited for us after check-in hours and welcomed us outside the building, even taking care of our luggage. He showed us around with so much care and made the place feel familiar, like staying with a relative, while still giving us space. The rooms are well designed and equipped with every comfort, from good linens and mattresses to extra pillows and blankets if needed. There was also a fully stocked corner for making all kinds of drinks, with fruit juices, still and sparkling water, and sweet and savory snacks like tarts, brioches, and crackers. We also got suggestions for local itineraries and places to eat.

The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, a genuinely pleasant person who works hard to support guests and keep things peaceful. The rooms are spotless and have every comfort. If I come back to the area, this will definitely be my first choice. Highly recommended!
