The owner is nice, but the place needs serious deep cleaning and maintenance. There were too many spiders and bugs, and we found hairs on the bed linen and cover. It seemed they might not have been changed after the previous guest. The apartment was quite dirty, and even the visible areas weren’t cleaned properly. I’m not sure how it has a 4.8-star rating. I assume owners and guests rate each other, so neither side may want to give an unnecessarily harsh review, which could get in the way of honest ratings. The best part was opening the door in the morning, hearing birds chirping and getting fresh air. I hope this review leads to cleaner rooms and happier guests. All the best!

A very peaceful place surrounded by nature. The rooms have a mini fridge and you can make tea and coffee. We were also offered the option of using the shared kitchen next door. Parking may be tricky, as there isn’t much room for more than about two cars. There are a few places nearby, around a 5-10 minute walk, including restaurants, a mini-market and a café.

Communication with the operator was tragic, and mobile phones don’t work in the area around the apartment. The intercom didn’t work either. The apartment was moldy, very poorly cleaned and sparsely equipped. Parking hadn’t been arranged despite the promises. We booked eight nights but left after the first, following a 1,500 kilometer journey.

The silence and being surrounded by nature made for a wonderfully relaxing stay, and everything was in good condition. Giovanni, the owner, was kind and respectful. He showed us around the city and gave us great suggestions for places to visit. Breakfast is included.
