Pepella

Super close to the train station, in a strategic spot. The rooms, service, and breakfast were all amazing. Teresa, who works there, is an angel ❤️ I’m missing the courtesy glass of wine I used to get before bed. After staying here, every hotel feels cheap lol.

Piano di Sorrento was quieter and more reasonably priced than Sorrento, and if you don’t mind commuting to the touristy spots, I’d stay here. The bus and train made trips into Sorrento easy and quick on the two days we went. The hotel in Piano is modern, clean, and comfortable. It was new and had few reviews when I booked, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be exactly as described. The balcony had a mountain view, and the rooms came with free wine and a full minibar with coke, water, juices, and more. Touch panels controlled all the lights, and outlets had USB and USB-C ports, really handy for Americans. Teresa served breakfast each morning from 8-10:30am. She’d make cappuccino, an omelette, fresh-squeezed orange juice, or pretty much anything else if she had the ingredients. She was so kind and friendly, we wished we’d booked a longer stay. We met the owners on our first night. They were kind, and it was clear they’d put a lot of work and thought into the design of Pepella. We hope to return!

A lovely new hotel with modern rooms and loads of amenities. I’d happily stay here again.

The staff deserve a special mention. They spoke only Italian, but were so warm, helpful, and eager to make sure we had what we needed. The room was full of character, with a distinctive style carried through the details. Everything felt harmonious and high-quality, and it was spotlessly clean, so we felt at home right away. Our stay at Pepella in Piano di Sorrento was really special. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would happily return!
