I stayed at Montebosco Luxury Country House from June 18 to 23, 2025. It’s peaceful, surrounded by lovely nature, and has a luxury feel, so it’s a nice place to relax and disconnect. The property is well kept and cozy, though the furniture and appliances weren’t as new as they looked in the photos. You really need a vehicle, since it’s high up on a mountain and hard to reach without a car. I might return if those issues are addressed.

We loved being away from the touristy noise of Sorrento while still being only 10 min by car from it. The house was one of the most tranquil places I’ve stayed, with loads of history, charm, and character. My partner and I were there for about 10 days, and I wish we’d stayed longer. We had the orange room, with a lovely deck and sun chairs. At the end of the day, that was my favorite spot for a beer or glass of wine. The property has everything you need for cooking and doing your own laundry, and there’s free parking. You’ll need a car to explore the area well. Iolanda showed us around when we arrived, and her son Martino gave us great recommendations for the region. They made us feel comfortable and welcome, and even sent us off with limoncello and figs. I can’t wait to come back.

The staff were so lovely and helpful, even after we’d checked out. Our bags arrived late, after we’d already left, but they still made sure we received everything. I loved walking through the garden to reach our room. The place was peaceful, clean, and had beautiful views. We could reach busy Sorrento in 15 minutes, and get home from dinner in Positano in 20. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed in a comfortable apartment at this gorgeous family property overlooking Sorrento. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, and I slept like a baby every night.

Martino was such a sweet, wonderful host, and his mother greeted us warmly. The place was beautiful and had a really calm feel. Everything was great. Best wishes to them both!
