Villa Francesca Relais

The villa was beautiful and well cared for, and our room was very clean. My cousin and I booked at the last minute during our trip to Sorrento last week. We arrived early without having had breakfast, and the owner and staff made us feel welcome right away by putting together a plate of food for us. They were so sweet throughout. I'd highly recommend staying here, and I'd book with Relais Francesca again if I visit.

Breakfast on the balcony was really comfortable, and the setting was lovely. There was plenty of sweet, packaged food, though I missed having healthier choices. Our room was small for three people, with little practical space and too few useful sockets, one of them broken. The bathroom, at least, was excellent. There wasn't anywhere to hang wet clothes, but madam Franca kindly lent us a drying rack. For the price and accommodation, the stay was reasonable. We also had to check in by 19h30 or pay an unexpected 30€.

We were stranded in the city and booked at short notice. The front desk guy was friendly and helpful, and said our check-in could be extended a little beyond the 9:30 cutoff. Our room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was generous. Orange and lemon trees in the courtyard gave the area a lovely smell. A very good value for an overnight stay.

Piano de Sorrento was a great base, and eating out there was very cheap. The train right beside the hotel made getting to Sorrento just a few minutes. The room was comfortable and extremely clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. I just got home after a fabulous time in Sorrento and thought Relais Francesca was a wonderful place to stay. I'd highly recommend both the hotel and location.
