We found it a pleasant alternative to parking in the nearby town, where we didn't feel safe. The host was nice, and the setting feels wonderfully close to nature, though it's out in the middle of nowhere and there's no WiFi. The bathrooms weren't great, but a large group had just visited and left them messy.

We spent two days here and mostly wanted to relax by that gorgeous pool, which was great, along with the terrace. It's a lovely spot for doing “dolce fare niente.” The staff member who look after the grounds clearly care about the place, and deserve a special thank you for their hard work. Service gets four stars from me. The two women serving seemed a little tired. I'd give the location four as well: there aren't many appealing places to cycle to nearby, and the climb up to the towns is steep.

A peaceful spot in the countryside, run by a very dedicated family. The pool was crystal clear, and the prices were reasonable. Dinner in particular was a good deal, with 13 plates of antipasto followed by a main course.

A huge pool, a lovely terrace, and a comfortable room in its own separate house made this a great stay. The decor was a bit cheesy, but in a fun way, and we loved watching the stars from the double swinging hammock. The staff were all excellent, and both dinner and breakfast were tasty and plentiful.
