Being a little way out of town turned out to be handy, since driving around the city can be tricky. Rita and Louis made us feel at home, and the immaculate gardens and pool gave the place a lovely, peaceful feel. Our room was roomy, comfortable, and decorated to suit the character of the house. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and full of delicious homemade food. Such a lovely stay, one of the best places I’ve experienced in Italy.

We had a really helpful, engaging host in Rite I. She was ready to help with whatever we needed. It’s a great base for seeing the Romana del castle and enjoying good food in town near the Basilica.

Rita made our stay memorable, and we loved chatting with her and the other guests over breakfast. She served homemade omelets, bread, jams, fresh fruit, and cheeses, all fantastic. She also pointed us to a local restaurant serving amazingly prepared Sicilian fish. Villa Clementine is a beautiful B&B set in a former family farm, with lovely grounds and a convenient spot between Piazza Armerina and Villa Romana del Casale.

The house and gardens are really pretty, and Rita made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived for our one-night stay. We were in the area to visit Villa Roman. It’s close to both the old town and Villa Roman, though the approach is along a narrow road. Rita served a generous, delicious breakfast. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area.

We had a great dinner here, cooked by Rita and her staff, and the breakfast was outstanding too. Sra Rita may be the world’s best host, so warm and welcoming. The rooms are nice, with views across the large garden and pool, and we found them comfortable.
