You’ll need a car here. The villa is quite remote, and we didn’t see any public transport in Piedimonte Etneo, so driving is needed for shopping, restaurants, the beach and getting around. It’s a stunning place for a big group holiday, with a huge pool and plenty of outdoor and indoor space. The interiors and gardens are beautiful, and there are great views of Etna. The rooms are large, most with their own bathrooms. There’s a nice lobby, a massive living room and a cozy shared space upstairs. The kitchen has everything you need if you like cooking, plus lots of fridge space.

We celebrated our wedding here, and it was a fairytale week for me and my guests. The host was really friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was lovely. My baby boy was made here 🖤 It’s an authentic Sicilian home, with a wonderful view of Etna and all the essentials, including clean linen and kitchen things. I hope we can return to Villa San Gerardo soon!
