Villa Etna Sea

There were 11 of us at this beautiful, spacious, luxurious villa, but we found only 5 glass glasses and 10 cups. The rest of the glasses were regular disposable plastic ones. 😢🤷‍♀️

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and in summer you can cool off in the large pool. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful, and very professional. It’s in a quiet area, a nice place to get a break from the city, while still being handy for Mount Etna, Taormina, and the Alcantara Gorges. The Fiumefreddo motorway exit is just 10 minutes away.

A car is needed to reach any shops, so the main convenience here is the location if you’re driving. The area is very quiet, and the view of Etna makes it worthwhile. The owner’s service was very efficient. There’s a billiards table, a pool, and a hot tub, though the rooms could be better, and some people may struggle to sleep comfortably. One heads-up: the garbage collection doesn’t follow its advertised dates. That’s not the villa’s fault, just a warning.

Taormina, the Alcantara Gorges, Mount Etna, and Etna Adventure Park were all within easy reach. We had a fantastic stay, and Mr. Massimo and his wife gave us such a warm welcome. The villa and rooms were spotless, and the pool was spectacular. We’ll definitely come back.
