The food was really, really good, the service was perfect, and all the buildings had been renovated beautifully. We had a super great stay, surrounded by fantastic nature. A special thank you to Lucia and Alessio for being so friendly and helpful. You both made this place even more memorable for us :)

The surroundings, hotel, pool, food, and their own wines were all stunning. It felt like the Italian dream come true!

Dinner was decent, especially with that atmosphere, but we found it too expensive and overly sophisticated for the room rate. The nearest restaurant is at least a 20-minute drive away, so there aren’t many alternatives. I’d also suggest starting breakfast at 8:00 or later. We spent three nights at Villa Fibbino. The setting is enchanting, quiet, and surrounded by nature, though perhaps a bit too isolated. The property has a lot of potential, but service management seemed somewhat confused, possibly because the staff had changed recently. Still, it was a pleasant stay.

At 8:00 PM we had aperitifs by the beautiful pool, followed by traditional dishes for dinner under the gazebo. The staff were very kind and helpful. Stefano, the owner, deserves special thanks: he was so kind, showed us around the property, and suggested a magnificent hike up the mountain, with distant views of Lake Trasimeno. We stayed two days with friends at this splendid property and had a lovely time. Recommended for a wonderful stay.

The landscape is fantastic, far from city noise and civilization. The property could be lovely for a romantic break, a pleasant evening, or a tasting dinner, but our experience was badly let down by the room, facilities, and the way our concerns were handled. We were given a different room from the one we booked, and it was much smaller than the advertised size, so check the details on the relevant websites. The bathroom smelled bad, the heat was unbearable, there were no mosquito nets and bugs got inside, and the pillows were thin with no way to get extras. Some basics were missing. The mini-bar was empty, without even a small bottle of water despite the remote location. There’s no lunch option, so you have to leave and hope something nearby is open, or shop and bring food back. Luckily, we had a cooler and could pick up supplies and snacks. The pool is very large, with a picturesque view, and pleasant to use, though there were lots of bugs, which is normal in the countryside. A net near the relaxation area would let guests clean it themselves. The restaurant served high-quality food with excellent ingredients and presentation. But dinner was only at a set time and came as a tasting menu, so you couldn’t choose to eat whenever you wanted. There was no wine list, which meant we knew basically nothing about the wine. At a winery that produces its own wine, I expected to hear its history and perhaps a little about how it’s made. Breakfast desserts were very good, and freshness and authenticity were clear strengths. Still, none of the food had labels identifying what it was or listing allergens. That’s unthinkable in a place calling itself a hotel. Breakfast was served outdoors, but there were so many wasps and insects that we couldn’t eat outside and enjoy the view. The staff felt nonexistent and inattentive to guests’ needs. Nobody showed us around the property, though we would have liked to see the whole complex. Since it’s a working farm surrounded by vineyards, a small vegetable garden, and fruit trees, a panoramic tour would have been lovely. Guests shouldn’t have to ask what’s available on the property, a staff member should explain it. Alessio was the exception. He was capable, always smiling, and ready to resolve any issue. He brought a positive vibe and was genuinely enthusiastic. He was great! I would still have given the experience four stars, but the attitude of the staff and owners left us speechless. We politely explained all these issues and got a curt, arrogant, unwelcoming response. That was the worst part and the reason for the drastic rating. I’m especially sorry we had to cut our holiday short by four days.
