Resort Podere dell'Angiolo

A beautifully kept pool, always available, made for a peaceful little oasis. Francesca welcomed us warmly and was as courteous and helpful as a friend. Our room was comfortable, clean, and warm, with lovely original touches and a personal feel. We noticed that same care throughout the property. It's set on a sunny green hill among vineyards and olive trees, with roe deer and hares about and stunning views across Umbria in every direction. Breakfast was very good, especially the organic jams. It's the kind of place you want to visit again.

The bed was really comfortable, the location is excellent, and the staff were friendly. But wasps and horseflies made the holiday miserable. We couldn't sit by the pool or eat breakfast outside. There were also some charges that seemed inconsistent, including €5 extra for fruit at breakfast and another supplement for air conditioning. It left me unsure about the property, and I can't say for certain whether I'd recommend it.

Francesca was a meticulous, attentive host, and the setting felt like a corner of paradise where you could properly unwind. My only reservation is that having no staff around in the evening or at night could, possibly, leave guests feeling uneasy or abandoned.

Francesca, who runs the resort, was a very kind host and generous with advice for guests. I had a lovely time in this charming place. If you're passing through this part of Umbria, I'd definitely recommend it, even just for a few days of total relaxation.
