We’re staying in one of their side properties inside Pienza, rather than at the Villa. The room is very nice and a good size, with a king bed. There’s a little kitchen for cooking, though they ask you to avoid oily or greasy food because it makes a mess. Breakfast isn’t included, but there are lots of restaurants nearby, so eating is easy. You can have the buffet at the Villa instead, a short two-minute drive away. Just call Francesco the day before to say you’re coming. It’s €10 per person.

The shower and breakfast could have been better, though neither was bad. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Pienza, and a great base for exploring the region. We stayed six nights and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and felt fresh thanks to the cooled floor, and the pool was lovely. We’d gladly come back.

The breakfast was moderate, and there was a nice outdoor seating spot in the shade where we could enjoy it. The room was lovely, nicely decorated, and had a great shower. It stayed cool during the day. The place is along the main road, about two minutes from Pienza. We stayed last summer.

The staff were really helpful, and we loved the rooms and the amazing garden. It’s close to Pienza, but you can still feel like you’re in a village for a while. We’d definitely recommend it. One small tip for the owner, it’d be great to try local products for breakfast.

We had a great stay for our one night at La Collina. The room was very big and clean, and both the decor and the smell were really nice. It’s good value, and the location is great. It’s right by the main road, so you might sometimes hear cars, but it didn’t bother me at all.
