We liked having breakfast brought to our room, and the hotel is in a great location. We stayed December 1-3, and had a nice top-floor room. The first night was extremely windy, and the noise kept us from sleeping much; the second night the weather was fine and we slept well. We're older, so the many stairs were difficult with our luggage and still not easy without it. I'd suggest an lower-floor room for older guests. Apart from check-in and breakfast delivery, we hardly saw anyone around. We didn't need anything, but it felt a little strange. We enjoyed the stay apart from the stairs and wind, which of course the owners couldn't control.

Breakfast came right to our room, so we could eat in our pyjamas, which was lovely. We stayed in the top-floor apartment at Il Giglio, with its balcony, and thought it was gorgeous and full of charm. The location and host were excellent. We enjoyed it thoroughly and hope to come back before too long.

Such a cozy, quaint place. The concierge was very accommodating, and breakfast arrived exactly when we requested it.

A lovely attic apartment with a stunning view, and a great host.

The location was good, though the rooms felt quite dated and breakfast was poor.
