The Caravan Ulivi was brand new and had everything we needed, including a microwave, filter coffee maker, and kettle, though there’s no toaster. Two supermarkets are an easy walk away, handy for picking up fresh rolls in the morning. They’re very dog friendly, and we’d recommend staying here.

For me, this place is Paradise. I came by train and stayed for several weeks, enjoying the quiet natural surroundings while exploring Liguria. The beach and historic center are within walking distance. Nearby, along the not-too-steep way up, there’s a Lidle with practically everything you need. The owners are very friendly.

The location is just as good as the place itself. The sea and the restaurants and bars in the cute village are walkable, and you can also take the train to Genua. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The price seemed about right, and the pool is pleasant, though small for a campsite this size. Its rules felt over the top: shoes must stay at the entrance, and bathing caps are required. The nearby noisy road is a drawback. The new sanitary block is almost too modern, with changing colored lights, while the old one needs repairs. Some pipes leak and a few taps barely run. This is a mediocre campsite in mediocre surroundings. Getting around on foot is a bit of a trek, both to the free beach, which is quite ugly, and to the village center. During rest periods the campsite barrier stays closed, so your car is stuck inside. At check-in, they give you different codes for the entrance gates and garbage area, which is confusing. The smaller tent pitches can only be reached on foot by stairs, not by car. They’re quite small, and the associated parking lot is far away and inconvenient. You can’t use nearby empty pitches for parking either.
