After three weeks at this hotel, I felt more at home than in my own house. The rooms were very clean, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The walk into Pietra Ligure’s downtown takes about 20 minutes, but I thought it was worth it. We loved this beautiful hotel, especially the lovely view and very good breakfast.

My room was spotless and looked almost new, and the views were striking. But enjoying them meant stepping onto the balcony, with the busy road and train tracks between the hotel and beach right there. The noise also made it difficult to unwind at either pool. Breakfast felt limited for the price, and the staff were fine, though less welcoming than at other hotels nearby. I was also charged the city tax twice despite paying it at check-in, which was frustrating. With the noise and lack of a restful atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend it for a peaceful stay.

The beach is right there, and the view looks like a postcard. Coffee got me going better than my ex ever did, and I felt like royalty in a deckchair kingdom, with sunbeds lined up like vacation soldiers. I misjudged the sun and got burned like a lobster, entirely my fault. Next time: SPF 50 and a bigger smile. Great for anyone who likes their relaxation organized!

The staff made everything easy. They were really friendly, spoke several languages, and were happy to help, especially Sebastiano and the bar staff. The hotel feels fresh, and the views are amazing, so book an ocean view.
