We spent four nights enjoying the lovely house and the views across the valley. Kyle and Dado were wonderful hosts and shared some good tips on places to eat and other things. Pietrasanta and the beach are only a short drive away. They’ve made this a really nice retreat.

The prices are very good for what you get. It’s a peaceful, fresh-feeling place, only about three minutes from Pietrasanta and the beautiful art-filled surroundings. Kyle and Dado are super kind, the rooms have a lovely old Tuscan style, and the breakfast is great. A relaxing spot to recharge and feel like yourself again.

Time seems to slow down whenever I arrive at Almora, and Dado and Kyle have a lot to do with that. They’re two of the loveliest people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, first as hosts and now as friends. The house has been restored with such care and attention to detail, with little pieces of art around every corner. I truly recommend staying at Almora Bed & Breakfast and already look forward to coming back. And don’t forget to ask about the sheep!

It’s such a comfortable, natural place, tucked into the mountains above Pietrasanta. The hosts are extremely gracious. This B&B and marble carving school was amazing, and I highly recommend it. I’ll be back.
