**Disappointing and misleading** The listing on Booking showed 808 euros for 13 nights and said dogs were accepted, though extra charges might apply, so we were advised to call. On the phone, the host said that the 808 euro room wasn't suitable for a dog and that the Booking information was wrong. We felt this was false advertising. She said we'd need a more expensive room that could accommodate our dog, for 1300 euros. We were told it had access to the yard where our dog could roam freely, so we agreed and transferred the payment. When we arrived, the room was dirty, with cobwebs in the corners and dirt on the floor, and it was cold, even though the host knew when we would get there. The internet didn't work for the first three days and we couldn't find the network. On the fourth day, after I made a fuss about it, it suddenly started working. Netflix had been promised but never worked because of technical issues. We had paid an extra 500 euros above the listed price, so I expected our dog to be able to run freely in the yard as advertised. She isn't aggressive, imposing, or territorial. She's a medium-sized black dog who just wanted to run around and greet the other animals. The host kept harassing us to supervise her constantly or keep her on a leash because she or her animals were disturbed. It got so bad that the host tried to kick my dog away. Thankfully, we saw it, demanded our money back, and left. Meanwhile, her three dogs were constantly in our room eating my dog's food. Shouldn't I have been disturbed by that? The host seemed mean and cheap, and willing to do anything to avoid work. If you have no requests and leave in the morning, coming back late at night, she may be happy with you. Ask for anything, though, and she'll make you feel bad for asking. She takes offense easily, and every request was met with hostility or eye-rolling. I think she forgets that we're guests who paid to stay there, not her slaves or employees.
