Relais Villa Isabel

The room and bathroom were in poor shape: stains on the walls, a bad smell, worn linens, and an uncomfortable bed. The showerhead was broken and the tiles were grimy. The amenities were lacking as well. From arrival, the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. I left extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend this hotel or return.

We loved the large pool, which worked for a quick dip or swimming laps, and the terrace was a nice spot for breakfast or reading and relaxing. The Villa is tucked away from the rest of the world but only five minutes from town. Staff were super friendly despite the language barrier. Definitely recommend it, and I'd come back.

We booked this for an overnight stop on our honeymoon in Italy, but it was a horrible stay. The room was dingy and stinking, the sheets and linens were dirty, the toilet was horrible and the flush barely worked. The alleys and corridors were untidy, and insects were in the room. Even after asking numerous times, we weren't given any repellent. We asked a couple of times to change rooms, but it fell on deaf ears. As a couple, we requested a king size bed. We were first given twin beds, then moved after being told the next room would have a double, but it was twin beds again. We were tired and eventually settled for them. The person at reception seemed clueless. WiFi CONNECTION and NETWORK were pathetic, and the buffet breakfast wasn't served on time, delaying our plans for the day. Pricing is the only major positive I can think of. We had paid in advance, which wasn't worth it, and couldn't stay a single night. Overall, a horrible experience.

The breakfast was the best part for me: homemade cakes, fresh fruit, and delicious cappuccino. We had a really great stay at villa Isabel. The staff were super nice and quick to respond to anything we wanted, and the building is brand new with a great pool. It's a beautiful hotel close to Pietrasanta, and we absolutely recommend staying here.
