The host was lovely, and the room was really comfortable. We stayed in the terrace room, with fabulous views across the valley and mountains. Breakfast was great too. A lovely B&B up in the hills.

We loved the garden and the pool, along with the view across this magnificent region. The welcome was so warm, and the place felt like it was a little out of time. Breakfast set us up perfectly for the day, and we ended up staying longer than planned. You can also rent an apartment with its own private pool.

We had such a lovely stay at "Villa Belvedere" in Pieve Fosciana, Garfagnana. Mrs. Natascia and her staff deserve our warmest compliments. She was extremely kind and attentive to every need, and the staff have worked alongside her for years. They clean the interiors meticulously every day. The late 19th-century Art Nouveau property is beautifully cared for inside and out, with tasteful vintage and antique furnishings. Mrs. Natascia's father looks after the garden, and his passion for greenery shows, especially around the splendid swimming pool, which guests can use without restrictions. Breakfast was varied, with fresh sweet and savory items, served in a beautiful room with stunning views of the Apuan Alps. There's convenient parking in front, and pets are welcome for a more than reasonable surcharge. Everything was beautiful and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.
