That view from room number 1 was the part that nearly made me cry when we left. The balcony looks toward Vesuvius, the old town of Pompeii, and the mountains, and waking up to it each day was incredible. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the rainfall shower was lovely. They cleaned every other day, which worked well for us. We booked for our honeymoon and worried it sounded too good to be true, but it really was that good. Emeddio, sorry if I’ve got the spelling wrong, is such a sweet, funny man and made us feel at home. His family-run place has a really homey feel. You can get reasonably priced drinks brought to your room, and paying at the end was handy. His daughter’s cooking was incredible, some of the best food we’ve had, and she’s very talented. He was also helpful with advice about getting around. Try to get the smallest car you can. We’d asked the rental company for one, but they gave us a Nissan Juke, which was much too big. Looking at the other cars there, though, that may have been the smallest they had. A fiat panda or something similar would be much better. Following Emiddios advice, we rented a scooter, which was great fun. There was a bit of a learning curve, so you’d need to feel comfortable riding one. We hired it from New Era in Pimonte, and they were fantastic. Room number 1 has a wonderful balcony, so I’d suggest it if it’s available. We’ll tell everyone we know about this special hidden gem and hope we can come back someday. Thanks so much to Emiddio and his beautiful family. Your place is paradise!

Emidio, the owner, deserves a special thank you for the warm welcome. The staff were kind and attentive, and the service was excellent. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and beautifully decorated. There’s a stunning sea view from both the room and the breakfast area. We had a perfect stay, beyond what we expected, and won’t forget it. A real gem, highly recommended.

We spent three nights here and loved it. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and the food, wine, stylish rooms, and service were all wonderful. Ordering drinks is especially easy: scan a QR code on your phone from the terrace, pool, or your table, and they arrive almost right away. I’d give the hotel at least 10 stars if I could. Thanks for three unforgettable days in Italy. We’ll be back!

Buona Stella is a lovely choice if you want somewhere quiet, beautiful, and away from it all. The road in is narrow for about 1.5km, but you can manage it carefully. Once there, you get a stunning view, good food, and a very friendly host. Our room was clean and had all the amenities.

The hosts made us feel genuinely welcome, with kind hospitality and useful local tips. That personal touch was a big part of our stay at B&B Buona Stella. We also loved the setting: the property sits in the hills, with lovely views, a beautiful pool, and peaceful surroundings. It felt far away from everything while still being close to Naples, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast. The rooms were spotless, stylish, and comfortable, with thoughtful details that made them feel homey. Breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning, a great start before heading out to explore. It’s a great mix of comfort, charm, and location. We can’t wait to return.
