Hotel cavalieri is in the historic centre of fair Pinerolo, and the stay was unforgettable. The breakfast buffet was certainly original, with cold eggs and warm, hairy yoghurt. At dinner, the service had a subtle warmth tucked behind a slightly aggressive touch from the staff. Romantic guests who don’t need air conditioning might enjoy it, and nature lovers can meet a bunch of sweet insects and rodents. Ask for room 401 for something extra, and don’t forget to get a grab at the vitello tomato. Unforgettable.

We couldn’t sleep because there was no air conditioning in the hot weather. Noise went on all night until 4am, with doors opening and closing and people talking loudly and laughing. We complained to the receptionist, but nothing could be done. A terrible experience, and I definitely won’t return.
