The kitchen was a letdown: it had too few utensils, and some cookware was rusty, worn out, or unusable. We also had to buy a gas lighter because the one there was broken. The shower leaked outside the stall, and its faulty head often gave only a thin trickle of water. The location is excellent, right by the sea, and the residence itself is modern and generally nice. But those smaller problems piled up, so I’d put the stay around a 6.5 or 7.

Parking was the one real problem, especially in August when it was hard to find a spot. The residence is modern and elegant, newly built and tastefully furnished, with lovely terraces. It’s 200 meters from the sea. There are six apartments spread over three floors, and no elevator.

The place is kept with care right down to the details, and the courtesy is part of everyday life here. It’s a great base for a seaside break, while still offering the comfort of a high-end residence.
