This simple restaurant serves a two-course dinner, and its bar seems to be where Mavignola locals go to watch football (soccer) on the TVs. The food is homey. It isn't haute cuisine, but it gives you a glimpse of everyday local life.

The staff were nice, and we're very glad we chose full pension!

Dinner was generous, with a starter, main course, and dessert each evening. Breakfast was simpler but enough, and the food was very good. What really made the stay was how warm, friendly, and attentive the staff were throughout. We stayed three nights in spring, when there were fewer visitors, while exploring Val di Genova and Val Nambrone. Half board worked well for us. The rooms are basic, but suited the trip we were taking. One bed felt a little short for someone in our group who is 1.87 m tall. It's a very good option for the price, and the staff's kindness more than makes up for the small things that may be missing. We'd happily come back, especially for hiking in beautiful Val di Genova.
