Rendena Ski Apartments

We spent a week there with five adults. The house was fairly spacious, but it was dirty and missing so many basics: two toilet rolls for five people for three days, two glasses, two teaspoons, a towel set that was incomplete for everyone, no dishcloths, no paper towels, and no soap. The single beds pushed together to make a double had stained, holey single sheets. They ask for an extra €10, so at least clean the place and provide the bare minimum for guests.

The only good thing was the hot water. The apartment was cold and damp even in July, with a freezing floor, and being on the ground floor meant we heard the tenants above us clearly. The sofa sagged when you sat on it, and the “double” bed was two sagging single mattresses. The bidet plug wouldn’t hold water. All but one shutter need attention, and some connections are broken or missing. The location is wonderful, right near the entrance to Parco Pineta, and the view is great. But after staying in Pinzolo apartments for 4/5 years, I’ve never experienced so much inefficiency. As soon as we arrived, the pantry was completely bare, with no dish soap, oil, sugar, or anything else. We went shopping, then discovered the sink was fully blocked and the basin wouldn’t drain. I took apart the siphon underneath and found a lot of black dust blocking the pipe. After buying a plunger and baking soda, I managed to unclog it. I don’t think it had ever been cleaned. It was a bad experience in the “Superior” apartment.

The location is excellent, close to both the park and the center, but the cleanliness was terrible. The double bed is two single mattresses pushed together and held with a sheet. They’re different sizes and firmness, leaving a gap down the middle. The cleanliness and the mattress setup definitely need improvement.

The apartment is handy for both the town center and the ski lifts, but the 75 sq m ground floor place was quite disappointing. It wasn't very clean, there were cobwebs on the walls, and the dishes were old and incomplete. The beds and sofa were uncomfortable too. Although it's listed for 6/7 people, I think it only has room for 5 at most.
