The bedsheets had blood on them. It was simply disgusting, and I'm sad to leave such a bad review because I had high hopes for this place. The whole resort seemed badly organized. It was very expensive, and the restaurants inside were bad and, frankly, very bad. The mini market overcharges you if you want to buy anything. Breakfast was 8€ per person for food that seemed like it might have been sitting there for two years. Our little apartment came with just one roll of toilet paper, and if you ran out, they charged you for more. Be careful if you plan to cook: they provide no soap or sponge for washing dishes, which felt like a way to push you to buy them at their overpriced market. The beach was okay, but very, very dirty.

The bungalows are comfortable and look beautiful architecturally, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. This is a peaceful spot, especially suited to families with children, in a lovely part of Tuscany. Follonica, Piombino, Riotorto, and other wonderful monumental sites nearby are easy to reach.

The apartments were filthy and noisy. We could hear every move the people upstairs made, and there was hair all over the bathroom. If you're visiting this region, don't stay at baia etrusca.

The location was perfect and the staff were very kind. Air conditioning in the room is a must. Breakfast was simple, and the bread was dry, though maybe that's just how they like it.
