A very hospitable place with clean rooms and a really generous breakfast. Parking is on the one-way road, and it's close to the seaside.

My partner and I stayed for three nights and had a good time, thank you. The room was very clean, and breakfast came with a welcome that not everyone gets. Mortelliccio beach is spectacular and only two minutes away by car.

We keep coming back to this family-run place because it’s such a peaceful base for visiting Volterra and exploring the Val di Cecina. The owners make you feel welcome and are happy to help with whatever you need. On our second stay, the calm atmosphere was just as lovely as before. The rooms are small, spotlessly clean, and decorated in a shabby chic style, with fresh, fragrant towels and sheets. There’s a kettle with tea bags and biscuits for a quick snack. Breakfast is served in a beautiful frescoed room that feels like part of an old noble home, with little tables, cakes, pastries, biscuits and other snacks, plus a coffee machine and a fridge stocked with milk, fruit juice and more. Volterra’s museums, churches and characteristic streets are close by. Palazzo Viti, the Pinacoteca and the Etruscan Museum are well worth visiting. We’ll be back soon.
