I only spent one night, but the apartment was clean, comfortable and practical, and nicely warm. Getting in was simple thanks to clear instructions. You can walk quickly and easily to both the historic center and the sea. It was an affordable place that met my needs. Sincere thanks.

We were there for just one night. The location is very close to the train station, though no trains went by overnight. There’s no bidet, but otherwise the place was decent.

You can walk to just about everything you need from this well located apartment. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the owner was always available. My only complaints were the missing bidet and the train sounds that you can hear from a certain hour because the station is nearby. Still, the price is reasonable, so I’d recommend it and would definitely return.

The owners were kind and very helpful, and the coded locks made access easy. Although a railway line runs beside the building, I heard a train only two or three times over my three days, never at night. You can hear it, but the noise lasts just a few seconds and didn’t feel like a problem. The apartment was freshly decorated and welcoming, though the windows look onto limited views from a street outside Piombino’s center. It could use a few small cosmetic updates. Inside, it was well stocked, even with coffee grounds, and the linens were spotless. The bed was very comfortable, the recently renovated bathroom worked well, and the heat pump kept the place warm efficiently.
