We really liked room number 2. It was surprisingly spacious and nicely renovated, with a little in-between room between the bedroom and bathroom. The apartment sits on a side street beside the old city center by the sea, and there are plenty of places to eat within a five-minute walk, including spots that locals seem to visit. Breakfast came with a voucher for a cappuccino and pastry at a coffee place around the corner. Owner Luca was very kind and looked after us well. We only stayed one night while waiting for our Elba ferry the next day, but we’d happily come back, even for a longer stay. Highly recommend it.

The room has been completely redone in a stylish way, and the house itself dates to anno 1428 in the middle of the old town. The seaside is 150 m away, there are good reatauranzs nearby, and it’s a 35-minute walk to the ferries. Parking around here is easy.
