Serena welcomed us and shared plenty of helpful tips for our stay. We were also given a basket of local products when we arrived. The apartment was clean, well-kept, and well-stocked, and my family and I had a wonderful vacation. You do need a car, but the location makes it easy to reach places like the beaches of Piombino and Baratti in about ten minutes.

We slept wonderfully, and we didn’t miss having air conditioning since the apartment is so well ventilated. It was spacious, in great shape, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable week at the Podere. Serena made us feel at home, suggested beaches and restaurants, and even shared some delicious produce. The apartment was extremely clean, with a level of thoroughness you rarely find in vacation rentals. Thanks so much to Serena for being so kind and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

Serena was very kind and helpful, and even agreed right away when we asked to shorten our booking by two nights because of a car problem. We stayed for 5 days in the first-floor apartment. It has been renovated, with new bathrooms and new kitchen and bathroom appliances, and it was very clean. One suggestion: a fan or two and a sliding mosquito net at the front entrance would help. There were nets on the windows, but insects kept coming in through the curtains at the door. At night we had to leave the front door open and the outside door shut because of the heat, and mosquitoes got inside. Thanks again, Serena!

The owners were friendly and helpful. The apartments were clean, new, comfortable, and well ventilated. There was no air conditioning, but we were fine without it.
