A casa di Lucia B&B

It felt like having a home of my own, with all the utilities I needed, and the host was really friendly. What a lovely surprise! This B&B is about a seven-minute walk from the airport. I can see why it has so many positive reviews. Booking directly gets you a much better price than the usual booking sites, which can raise their rates a lot. Book direct for the best experience!

For a layover, this place is quite adequate for the price and its proximity to the airport, though I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. We had a small room with two very lightweight beds, a tiny TV, little nightstands, two chairs, and a small table. The air conditioning was much appreciated. The shower and toilet are in one bathroom shared by all three rooms, and mornings near checkout can get crowded and stressful.

The room was a little cold because the heating wasn't very powerful. The shared bathroom is tiny and a bit odd, but the nightly price is hard to argue with. For an early flight, the airport is less than a five-minute walk away, and they leave a complimentary breakfast ready: a brioche, Nutella, cookies, toast, butter and jam, apple juice, and coffee.

We got to Pisa after midnight and walked just a few minutes to casa di Lucia, which is close to the airport. The key was where the owner had told us it would be. It was a cozy place to spend the night, like grandma's house, and we felt very welcome. Breakfast was easy to sort out: the owner had left it in our box, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Lovely place, thanks Lucia! We recommend it.
