The flats and rooms are old, though they were very clean. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need a good night’s sleep. There are loads of mosquitoes, and they seem to hide until you finally doze off. I tried staying awake to catch them, but they only appeared once I’d fallen asleep, almost as if they were teasing me. Soundproofing is poor too, so traffic comes through, which I suppose you might expect this close to the airport. That said, it’s useful for an early departure: the walk to departures really takes two minutes. My flight was at 9:30 a.m.; I got there at 8:20 and the airport wasn’t crowded.

A few minutes on foot gets you to the terminal, and the B&B has everything you’d expect near the airport. The woman in charge was super friendly, even though she only speaks Italian. She also gave us two large bottles of water, something other reviewers here had complained about. This is just the place to stay before an early flight.

The owner is friendly and the rooms are clean. A good place for a short stay, with the airport within walking distance.

I chose this spotless, cozy B&B for an early flight and didn’t regret it. The host was nice, and the airport is about a five-minute walk away. The leaning tower is around a 30-minute walk from here.

We got in around 11 p.m. looking for somewhere to sleep near the airport, and they treated us really well from the start. Everything was clean and tidy. I’d definitely recommend this bed and breakfast, and I’m sure we’ll come back next time.
