Getting around was easy from here, even though the apartment is outside the city center. It had all the appliances we needed, was clean, and the owner was kind. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

What a dreadful experience. Avoid this place. The problems were sprung on me when I arrived, at a point when I had no real alternatives. Maybe he counted on us being there for the hospital and not having the time or energy to argue. Meanwhile, he wanted the whole payment upfront. I had canceled another booking because this apartment was supposed to have a second bedroom instead of a sofa bed in the living room, and, especially, a large shower. More than a month ahead, I sent photos so there'd be no confusion about which unit I wanted. I also explained that one of us has asthma and asked for a really thorough clean, including dust in hard-to-see places. He said that was no problem, the apartment I wanted was available, and it would be cleaned properly. Then, less than a week before we were due, he called to say the people staying there weren't leaving, so it wasn't available. He offered a smaller one-bedroom place. When I turned that down, he proposed another apartment, saying it was identical, just on a higher floor. I checked: two bedrooms? Yes. Dishwasher? Yes. A large shower? Not quite as large as the other one, but yes. I reminded him about the asthma, and he assured me the cleaning would be done well and said the recently renovated apartment was even nicer. What we walked into barely looked renovated. There was no dishwasher, the shower was tiny, dirt was caked on, and there was dust everywhere, even on the pillows (see photo). The place was so cold that we spent until evening in our coats, cleaning at least the essentials. I didn't think the full price was fair for that apartment. After an argument where he was rude, overbearing, and brazen about demanding the full amount despite all the problems, I paid a bit more than the cost of three nights rather than the five I was meant to pay. I didn't intend to pay more. Even with all our precautions, one of us had an asthma attack on the first night, before the surgery that had brought us there. I had to find somewhere else because I couldn't risk another attack after surgery. It took three days to find a place that was actually decent, but I managed it just in time, on the day I was discharged from hospital. I've never had such a disaster of a stay. Disgusting. Avoid it!

Paolo was courteous and kind, and even picked me up from the airport. I slept well thanks to the comfortable bed and pillow, and the kitchen was very handy. The apartment on Via Italo Simon had simple furnishings but felt welcoming and functional, and it had been recently renovated. I stayed for four days. The location made getting around easy, with the hospital within walking distance and a bus stop nearby for the city center and train station. I recommend it if, like me, you need to go to Cisanello Hospital every day.

Mr. Paolo, the manager, was extremely kind and helpful. The apartment was spacious, well furnished, spotless, and had everything needed. Private parking was convenient, and Cisanello Hospital and buses to the city center are both very close.
