Der Bahnhof B&B

I booked about a month ahead and, the day before arriving, got an email asking for my exact arrival time. I replied and went there the next day, but nobody answered the door. When I called, they said my booking had been cancelled, just like that. The man on the phone didn't even apologize. It was a Saturday afternoon during the long weekend around May 1, a day off in many countries, and this caused me a lot of trouble. I found it completely unprofessional and don't recommend this place.

The view was beautiful, and the location was handy for the airport, bus, and train stations. The Leaning Tower isn't far, and the people were very nice. On the downside, we struggled to find the entrance, the Wi-Fi was weak, and there weren't enough towels. We paid more on arrival than the booking price, and breakfast was all sweets.

We spent two nights here. The first was unpleasant because the other tenants were really rude, but after they left, the second night was fine.

The bedroom was spotless, and the rose scent on the sheet was refreshing, even though the building looked a bit run down. There was a bit of a catch with the price: we booked for €43, then they said they didn't have that room and tried to add another €10. Still, it was good overall.
