Pisa Lodge BB Hostel

We were treated like family, and the people here were extremely friendly. The room was tidy and clean, and it’s very close to the centre. It did get hot in the room, and the fan didn’t do much to help. The bathroom ceiling was also dangerously low. If those two issues are sorted out, it could be a really nice place to stay.

It felt like home here. The rooms are spacious, the toilets are big and clean, and the whole place, including the kitchen, was neat and very clean. Breakfast was good too. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in, and if I visit Pisa again, I’ll definitely come back.

We had to wait outside for 30 minutes when we arrived, so the service could have been better. Our attic room was also very hot the entire time. There was no air conditioning, and the fans barely helped. A few mosquitoes got in, and the window wouldn’t stay open unless we wedged things into the frame. Maybe other rooms are different, but we can’t say.

The place is well located, very close to the leaning tower, and you may even see it from the window. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the metro station. The staff were amazingly friendly and helped me carry my bag up to the second floor, since there’s no elevator. The rooms and toilets were clean and cosy. It was a bit cold inside in winter, though.
