Gialel Pisa

The rooms are clean and tidy, the hosts are perfect, and the location is perfect too. But they feel bare and have no atmosphere or sense of being in Pisa, Italy. A few inexpensive touches, like pictures or tea and coffee facilities in the room, could make a big difference. Noise is another issue: the plasterboard partitions are very thin, and other guests should remember that people nearby can hear them. The hosts were lovely, welcoming, polite, and friendly. The rooms are practical, but lack any feeling.

We got in after 1 a.m. because our flight was delayed, and the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly. He chatted with us while we cooled down, and his wife was just as kind and brought us another pillow when we asked. The room was clean and spacious, and the location worked well for our trip. We could leave our bags after checkout and go explore. I'd definitely stay here again if I visit Pisa.

We stayed four nights and had a clean room with a view of the tower, plus great mattresses and bedding. It's a family-run hotel, and everyone was very friendly. They shared a few tips when we arrived. The location is ideal: about five minutes to the city centre and the nearest supermarket, and the road goes straight to the Pisa Tower and other sights. Restaurants and breakfast options are right next to the hotel. The rooms have air conditioning and a small balcony. Ideal for families or small groups of friends. Everything was top notch, and I was very satisfied. I can only recommend it!

The walls are thin, so you can hear pretty much everything happening inside the building. The area outside is very quiet, though, and the location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the Tower of Pisa. The rooms were fresh and very clean, with a really comfortable mattress and pillows, good air conditioning, and strong shower pressure. We found such great accommodation for such a low price, which was a highlight of our Pisa trip. I'd stay again and recommend it.
