The garden is a lovely place to walk around, with umbrellas in summer where you can sit and chat. Cleanliness indoors was reasonable, and they provided bathroom soap, towels, and shower gel. Still, this feels more like a makeshift B&B and doesn’t suit a long stay. It’s showing its age, and the mattresses need replacing. They’re uncomfortable, like spring mattresses, and the upholstery on the headboard doesn’t look like it’s been sanitized in a while. The location is noisy too, near a busy main road with traffic even at night and close enough to the hospital for ambulance sirens.

The shared outdoor garden is small, and the room itself was small too, with just one French window. We stayed for two days. We told the owner we’d arrive at 5:45 PM, but he said check-in wasn’t possible before 6:15 PM. The bathroom had a window, but there were no face or shower towels, and the bidet towels were missing. The bed was small and uncomfortable, with synthetic mattresses that I wouldn’t recommend in summer. Cleaning was very basic. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location was perfect for us because it was so close to the hospital, but the room was disappointing and we left in a hurry. We’d booked one night and immediately found the cleaning very poor and superficial. The room was tiny, with a horrible sewage smell, and the pillowcases were torn and dirty. Using the bathroom brought up a terrible sewer smell. There were no windows, just the French window at the entrance, so the smell spread through the whole room and lingered.

There was no welcome at all, and the owner was rude and unfriendly. The place was right next to a highway, so it was extremely noisy. I stayed here a while ago, and it was very, very old. The room was tiny and filthy, with poor furnishings and furniture and bathroom fixtures from the early 1900s. There were ants and mosquitoes everywhere, and no screens. The sheets and blankets were torn, the towels had holes, smelled bad, and were full of hair. They didn’t change the sheets. The bathroom had no window or ventilation, and there was no hairdryer. There were no hygiene supplies, not even shower gel, shampoo, or toilet paper. There wasn’t any breakfast or even a coffee maker, and the air conditioning didn’t work. Not recommended. A nightmare, it couldn’t get worse.
