Bed & Breakfast Leopolda

We had a terrible stay at Hotel Terranova. The room was infested with bed bugs, and we were bitten several times overnight. When we told the owner, she was dismissive and unhelpful. She first said reception was closed and nothing could be done, then brought us a spray a few minutes later. That didn't seem like a proper or professional response to such a serious problem. We had to leave in the middle of the night with nowhere else arranged, and they still wouldn't refund us despite the unacceptable, unsanitary conditions. This is a serious health and hygiene concern, and management's lack of accountability was deeply disappointing. I strongly urge other travelers to avoid this hotel.

There were bedbugs all over the room. Four friends and I stayed there, and every one of us was bitten in several places. They refused to compensate us at all. Disgusting place, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Our flight was delayed and there were no taxis at the airport, so we walked to the hotel. Even at one in the morning it felt very safe. The front desk lady was kind and sold us snacks and wine since we'd missed dinner. The hotel was very clean, and the shower had great pressure.

The owner is genuinely kind, friendly, chatty, and generous, and made me feel at home. He even arranged breakfast around my many intolerances. The room was roomy, with a big bathroom, and it was tidy and clean. It was very cheap, and during the day it's well connected to the airport. The hotel is close to the river, where you can enjoy some quiet, magical moments, and also very near the city center and all its beauty. It felt safe even at night.
