Lungarno Bellavista Penthouse

The three bedrooms were great, and the apartment was beautiful. Perfectly placed near all the town’s main sights. Great AwesHome!

The apartment was clean and nice. Finding parking nearby was difficult.

Its location is probably the only good thing. The coffee maker wouldn’t work because of limescale, and the kettle was clogged up with it too. The apartment needs renovation and, above all, a proper clean. There was mold in the bathrooms, and the shower screens need replacing. Two of the air conditioners also gave us trouble. The owner couldn’t care less.

The location is good, and the apartment was generally clean. But the shower enclosures in both bathrooms were heavily moldy, with dirty black edges all over the tiles, walls, and doors. It felt unhygienic and unhealthy, and the shower heads were old and dirty. The bedrooms really need window screens. Without them, mosquitoes buzzed around every night, and the walls were covered in squashed mosquitoes left by previous guests. It’s hard to understand why nothing is being done about these problems. For us, they’re the reason this gets only two stars.
