The hosts were very kind, and the rooms in this old family villa were nice and thoroughly clean. Breakfast was high quality with enough choices, and you can sit outside in the garden or on the terrace. It’s within walking distance of both the city center and railway station. There’s cheaper parking about a five-minute walk away at Lungoarno. You’ll need the Easypark app or enough coins. It’s free from 5 pm to 8 am, and cards are mostly not accepted, nor are banknotes.

Roberto even offered to drive us to the hospital when my son needed minor medical care, and arranged for a good doctor to come see us at the accommodation. That says a lot about how genuinely caring they are. It’s a family business, and we felt treated like relatives. Breakfast was packed with delicious fresh local products, so “great” hardly covers it. There’s a small garden, a convenient check-in time, and the place is close to attractions and plenty of good restaurants away from the tourist traps. They also have a couple of turtles in the garden! 😀

Roberto and Ivi are lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us, and communication before check-in was excellent. We felt like family. Just keep in mind this is a small traditional hotel, so there’s no elevator or 24/7 concierge. There are only four rooms. They’re basic but spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is simple, made with quality local produce. Roberto’s Mum makes fresh juice, and coffee is Roberto’s specialty. The location is perfect, a short walk from the city center and railway station. The airport is less than a mile away. We even walked there with our luggage on the way back, and it was easily doable.

We brought our family and it worked perfectly for the kids. This really is a family business. Roberto was a great host, friendly and helpful, and the food and coffee were top notch. Highly recommend.

The breakfast and cappuccinos were delicious, and the host was friendly, easygoing, and full of useful information and recommendations. There’s a beautiful park very close by, and the tower isn’t far. A great place to stay, highly recommended!
