Villino Ermione

The garden and the lovely marina views made the setting feel so peaceful. My partner and I had a wonderful time at Villino Ermione, and the whole place has a warm, charming atmosphere. The owner was kind, discreet and professional, and easy to reach when we needed anything while still giving us privacy. Our room was cleaned each day. We can’t wait to come back. Such a special place.

This is a small, lovely hotel, maybe only five rooms or so, so don’t expect a lot of elaborate service. The rooms themselves are very good, spacious, new and tastefully done, with a good bed and bathroom. The beach and restaurants are a short walk away, and there’s a supermarket just around the corner. There’s no room service, but you can make tea with the basic kettle in one of two nice shared living rooms overlooking the marina. Internet is decent, there’s satellite TV and good air conditioning, plus a shared fridge if you need it.

A simple, relaxing villa-hotel that feels like Marina Di Pisa. The refurbished rooms are clean and well serviced, with comfortable beds, good air conditioning and very good showers with private bathrooms. There’s a small garden too. No breakfast or other meals are provided, but a nearby restaurant has coffee or breakfast for 2 or 5 euro. Recommended.

We’d been looking forward to our stay at Villino Ermione after booking directly on its website and receiving a confirmation. We travelled from Florence, a two-hour journey on public transport, only to be told on arrival that they had supposedly sent a cancellation email. It never arrived, and it wasn’t in my junk folder either. Whatever the place is like, a hotel shouldn’t leave you without anywhere to stay. I wouldn’t risk booking here again or recommend that others do.
