S'olivariu Village Guest House Swimming Pools Heart Of Sulcis

We booked a double room with a private bathroom, and arrived around 2 a.m. to find dirt everywhere. I can't include the whole gallery, but I'll attach some photos. The bathroom was the worst part, clearly not fully cleaned, so I had to clean it myself that night. Used toilet paper from earlier guests was still there, the bin hadn't been emptied, the shower was in a terrible state, the tiles had spills on them, and the towels were dirty. The B&B is run by the very sweet Mrs. Piera, but kindness doesn't make up for this. When we raised it the next day, she brushed it off and said she'd clean while we were out. That didn't happen the second time either. On day two, ants were all over the room and bed. Mrs. Piera changed the sheets but left the mattress cover, and more ants kept appearing over the next few days. The replacement sheets were obviously very dirty. On day three, we hung tablecloths and swimsuits on the outdoor drying rack, only to find them soaked by an irrigation system nobody had told us about. The “breakfast” was supermarket croissants. And the so-called double bed was smaller than a queen, leaving my 6'3" boyfriend curled up to sleep. Hosts, pay someone to clean properly, or give young people some space if you're not up to it. Stay away from this nightmare!

The lady was so friendly and helpful, and left us feeling right at home. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast offered a good range of options, and the outdoor area was really lovely too. We know this place hasn't had great reviews, but we had a very pleasant experience.

Peace and quiet are pretty much guaranteed here. It was lovely hearing the birds chirp, the rooster crow, and the hen cluck after laying an egg. The hostess was very kind, the house had good furnishings, and breakfast was excellent and met our expectations. Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!

Warning, this could be a scam. The rooms were dirty, with dirty sheets and linens, and nothing was as described or pictured. Stay away.
